The Childbirth Center at Griffin Hospital offers monthly tours to experience its innovative family-centered maternity care in an environment that best meets individual and family needs. The Childbirth Center Welcome Tour is for all families planning on delivering at the Childbirth Center at Griffin Hospital. The informational session will cover common questions, including visiting hours, paperwork, meals, parking, prenatal and post-partum support and services, and a tour of the unit. We want to be sure you are comfortable and familiar with the facility before your big day and answer any questions you may have.

These Welcome Tours are open to siblings.

The tours will start with a presentation of the Center’s compassionate, family-centered features and a question-and-answer session followed by a tour of our supportive and tranquil facility.

The tour will highlight:

24/7 availability of specialized maternal and newborn care professionals
Five fully-equipped delivery rooms and two advanced operating rooms
Educators and lactation consultants for pre-and post-delivery support
Jacuzzi tub for natural pain relief during labor
Private postpartum recovery suites with natural light, double beds to accommodate partners ensuring comfort for shared overnight stays
Family room for visitors with TV, reading materials, and toys
Celebratory dinner for two with a menu from an executive chef on the last night
