Griffin Bariatrics Presentation and Cooking Demonstration
Griffin Bariatrics will host a free presentation on bariatric weight-loss and a cooking demonstration for individuals considering bariatric weight-loss services and for Griffin Bariatrics post-operative patients who want to learn more about a high-protein diet on Thurs., Feb. 29 from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Griffin Center for Healthy Living Teaching Kitchen, Quarry Walk, 300 Oxford Rd., Oxford.
Griffin Health Registered Dietician Larissa March will be discuss how a high protein/low fat diet helps with weight loss, specifically with bariatric procedures. Executive Chef Daryeal Murphy will prepare a high-protein and low-fat dish for participants to learn how to make and to sample.
