Dr. Deepali Jain is a highly skilled minimally invasive general surgeon with a strong proficiency in robotic, laparoscopic and open elective and acute care surgery. Dr. Jain specializes in treating digestive diseases and abdominal wall reconstruction. She focuses on making connection with patients with compassion and strives to treat the whole person through all phases of the surgical encounter. Dr. Jain is a multifaceted surgeon serving in Ansonia, Seymour, Shelton, Derby and towns throughout the Lower Naugatuck Valley.

With a wide range of interests including cooking, nutrition, travel, hiking, golf, skiing, and an insightful sense of humor, Dr. Jain offers an exceptional ability to connect with people, and educate patients on a path towards greater wellbeing and quality of life.

Dr. Deepali Jain is also committed to helping to improve access to health and played a key role in a medical brigade for the Global Medical Brigades in Honduras, where Dr. Jain  coordinated efforts to gather and donate  medications and set up temporary mobile clinics in remote communities in Honduras. These clinics provided essential healthcare services, including assessment, general medical care, pharmacy services to patients who might not otherwise have access to care.
