Griffin Health in Derby is proud is announce Kristy Jelenik as its new Executive Director of the Griffin Health Development Fund.
A fund development leader with more than 20 years of experience, Jelenik will bring her impactful and outcome-driven work ethic to her duties overseeing Griffin fundraising campaigns and enhancing partnerships with valued supporters in the community. At Griffin Health, Jelenik will strengthen its Planetree person-centered commitment to foster healthy communities by developing relationships with individuals and organizations that can help Griffin expand the boundaries of health care beyond its walls and improve well-being though the expansion of patient care services, enhanced technology including remote biometric monitoring and expand outreach activity and community-based programs and acute, chronic preventive care services.
Jelenik formerly served as Executive Director of the Housatonic Community College Foundation and as Vice President of Development at Fairfield County’s Community Foundation. She is a Fellow of the Zoom Foundation’s Leadership Development Round Table, a member of the Association for Fundraising Professionals and Bridgeport Area Nonprofit Collaborative, and a development consultant for the CUNY-Hunter College, Public Service Scholar Program.
