Dr. Minotti began his career as an orthopedic surgeon in 2005 after completing a fellowship in hip and knee replacement at the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia. He is the recipient of the Everett J. Gordon award and chief resident of his class at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
Dr. Minotti specializes in minimally-invasive procedures, particularly hip replacements, which allow some patients to go home the same day and reduces recovery time for most. He is one of a select group of surgeons trained to perform anterior hip replacement, an advanced surgical procedure that greatly reduces the amount of muscle tissue damaged compared to traditional hip replacement surgery. Dr. Minotti follows the philosophy that surgery is always the last option, and keeping you out of the operating room is just as important as doing quality work in it.
